BYD hosted the largest single-brand booth at the show, spanning 2,835 square meters and displaying more than 40 new energy vehicles across a wide range of use cases. The four newly introduced models—spanning hatchbacks, SUVs, and sedans—underscore the company’s push to broaden its appeal from entry-level buyers to mainstream segments in Thailand.
The lineup includes the Seagull, positioned as a nimble urban commuter; the Yuan UP, targeting younger buyers in the compact electric SUV segment; the Seal 06, designed to balance driving performance with comfort; and the Sealion 05 DM-i, which leverages BYD’s DM-i hybrid system to deliver a combination of low fuel consumption and extended driving range.
Liu Xueliang, general manager of BYD’s Asia-Pacific auto sales division, described the four-model debut as a key milestone in the company’s Thai expansion. Backed by proprietary technologies such as the Blade Battery and the DM-i hybrid platform, BYD aims to elevate the local EV experience through continued innovation and product refinement.

The company said its expanding product portfolio and evolving brand strategy are steadily strengthening its market presence and consumer recognition in Thailand. Looking ahead, BYD plans to continue investing in technology and product upgrades to broaden its new energy vehicle offerings, provide more reliable mobility solutions, and support the country’s transition toward a greener, low-carbon automotive industry.
