The Xiaomi YU7 GT has been spotted testing without camouflage at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, according to images shared on Chinese social media. The test vehicle was painted red, including one unit with GT decals.
Exterior details visible in the images include a front splitter, an aggressive rear diffuser, and large red brake callipers. The rear design incorporates a prominent diffuser structure, while the overall body maintains a coupe-SUV silhouette consistent with earlier regulatory filings.
CarNewsChina reported that a camouflaged prototypes of the same model were previously observed testing at the Nürburgring, indicating ongoing development validation at the German circuit.
Exterior and aerodynamic features
The YU7 GT continues the design language seen on the Xiaomi SU7, including signature “waterdrop” headlights and a low-drag body profile. The test car features frameless side mirrors and hidden door handles.
Aerodynamic elements include 10 through-flow channels and 19 air vents. The rear retains a ducktail-style spoiler and full-width taillight design. The model rides on 21-inch wheels with staggered tire sizes.
Visual evidence from the Nürburgring test cars suggests the presence of carbon-ceramic brake discs, although this specification is not explicitly confirmed in official filings.

Powertrain and performance specifications
The YU7 GT uses a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system delivering a combined output of 738 kW (990 hp), based on MIIT filings. The front motor produces 288 kW, while the rear motor generates 450 kW.
This setup enables a top speed of 300 km/h. The vehicle is equipped with a 101.7 kWh ternary lithium battery pack, supporting a maximum CLTC range of 705 km.
The YU7 GT is positioned as a high-performance variant within the YU7 lineup, sharing its dual-motor configuration and wide-body styling elements.
