Deutsche Bank forecasts the BYD brand to sell 5.1 million cars in 2025, Denza brand at 250,000 and Fang Cheng Bao at 160,000 cars.

The Xia MPV is based on BYD's DM 5.0 hybrid system and has a CLTC range of up to 1,060 km.

The BYD's Fang Cheng Bao Bao 5 PHEV off-roader will be sold overseas under the Denza B5 name. It has 677 hp and a mixed range of 1,200 km.

The BYD Xia reached Chinese dealers before the launch scheduled for January 8. This PHEV has over 400 hp and a starting price of 38,400 USD.

BYD gave the Xia its debut on August 30, saying at the time that the MPV would be priced in the RMB 300,000-yuan ($40,980) class.
