Chinese electric car manufacturers BYD and Chery are in ongoing discussions with the Turkish government on potential electric vehicle (EV) factories.

Chinese EV giant BYD had launched the Seal electric sedan in India earlier this year at a starting price of ₹41 lakh (ex-showroom).

The BYD Qin L DM-i plug-in hybrid sedan arrived at dealers ahead of the sales launch. It will enter the domestic market on May 29 with a starting price of 16,600 USD.

With the new Seal U DM-i PHEV, BYD aims to extend its appeal in the plug-in-hybrid crossover segment. The new Seal PHEV falls in the D-segment SUV space and claims to offer an unparalleled driving experience thanks to its intelligent hybrid system. The latest SUV from BYD offers three variants and power tunes to choose from.
