The Stellantis-backed updated Leapmotor C10 crossover started presales in China with improved powertrain and equipment. The car will soon enter the domestic market, positioned as the 2026 model year car.
The Leapmotor C10 entered the Chinese market in March 2024. Its cumulative deliveries reached 97,103 units, according to China EV DataTracker. The C10 also entered overseas countries as one of the brand’s global models. On April 30, Leapmotor kicked off presales of the 2026 model year C10. Its major feature is an enhanced powertrain.
Leapmotor C10 update
The 2026 model year Leapmotor C10 retained the same exterior and interior styling. This SUV measures 4739/1900/1680 mm with a wheelbase of 2825 mm. The car rides on 18-inch or 20-inch rims.
The all-electric Leapmotor C10 started using the 800V high-voltage system. This technology helps the battery to charge and discharge more effectively. The battery capacity was also improved. The 2026 C10 adopts an LFP pack for 74.9 kWh. The car’s CLTC range reached 605 km.
Thanks to an 800V system, the all-electric Leapmotor C10 has a more powerful electric motor with a peak output of 220 kW (295 hp). It is a noticeable 50 kW (67 hp) increase over the previous model year C10 with 170 kW (228 hp). The new model can speed up to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds. For comparison, the old model had a zero-to-hundred acceleration time of 7.3 seconds.
Another benefit of the 2026 Leapmotor C10 is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P processor that powers the infotainment system. The car integrates a LiDAR sensor. Other updates include a new purple body shade, electrically powered door handles, and a 50W wireless charging pad. The EREV variant of the Leapmotor C10 remained the same powertrain.
According to the brand’s representatives, the 2026 Leapmotor C10 with EREV powertrain has a price range of 129,800 – 139,800 yuan (17,850 – 19,230 USD). The electric variant of the 2026 Leapmotor C10 has a sticker price between 139,800 – 149,800 yuan (19,230 – 20,610 USD). Customerorderer for the new model year car will get a 4,000 yuan (550 USD) discount, a free home charging station, two years of free in-car internet, and other bonuses.
