The upcoming Stelato S9 wagon has been spotted in new spy shots, revealing a sleek, extended silhouette that carries over much of the design language from the Stelato S9 sedan. The wagon prototype features a flowing roofline, rounded edges, and a subtle rear spoiler. Its taillights closely resemble those of the Aito M8, indicating a consistent styling direction across Huawei’s vehicle range. Spied images suggest a more sculpted tail lamp design was once considered, though the production version adopts a simpler and more cohesive rear end.

Technical details are still under wraps, but the wagon is expected to share its powertrain with the sedan. The extended-range electric version combines a 1.5T engine (118 kW) with a 227 kW rear electric motor, achieving a CLTC-rated electric range of 365 km and up to 1,355 km. Two battery capacities—37 kWh and 53.4 kWh—will be offered.

A pure electric version is also expected using a 100 kWh ternary lithium battery from CATL. It supports 800v fast charging and will likely be priced between 399,800 and 449,800 yuan (roughly 55,300 to 62,250 USD). Both variants use Huawei’s turing platform, which includes motion sickness mitigation. They are scheduled to receive the Huawei ADS 4.0 driver assistance system in Q3 2025. This system employs four LiDAR units—one high-resolution 192-line unit and three additional solid-state sensors.

The wagon will likely have 20-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels, based on the sedan. The front end includes Huawei xPixel headlights capable of projecting dynamic lighting patterns.

Inside, the cabin retains a layout similar to the sedan. It features truffle brown Nappa leather, a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, and a 15.6-inch central screen. Rear passengers benefit from reclining seats with heating, ventilation, and massage functions, positioning the S9 Wagon as a spacious and tech-forward family option.

The Stelato S9 Wagon is expected to launch alongside updated sedan variants later this year, with deliveries slated for late 2025. As Huawei continues broadening its footprint in the EV space, the S9 Wagon could appeal to those looking for additional practicality without sacrificing the technology and performance already seen in the sedan.
