Leapmotor today unveiled the official interior images of its upcoming compact SUV, the Leapmotor A10 (with the international name B03X). The reveal comes as the vehicle continues its blind pre-order phase, with a market launch slated for next month.

The A10 features a notably straight dashboard line, complemented by a standard dual-spoke multi-function steering wheel. Drivers will interact with an 8.88-inch full LCD instrument cluster, while passengers and drivers alike will benefit from a 14.6-inch 2.5K floating central control screen.

There are also ambient lighting, a wireless phone charging slot, and dual cup holders. A highlight of the A10’s technology suite is the AI assistant powered by Alibaba’s Qwen, promising more natural and intuitive human-machine interaction.

Externally, the Leapmotor A10 adopts the brand’s “Tech Natural Aesthetics 2.0” design language. Its front fascia is characterised by a closed grille and polygonal headlight clusters, with vertical air ducts on the sides and a trapezoidal air intake below. Along the sides, there are semi-hidden door handles. Customers will have a choice of six exterior colours: Seaweed Green, Acorn Brown, Berry Blue, Tundra Grey, Starlight Silver, and Morgan Pink.

Under the hood, the Leapmotor A10 is powered by an electric motor delivering a maximum output of 90 kW. It offers two battery options: 39.8 kWh and 53 kWh, providing CLTC pure electric cruising ranges of 403 km and 505 km, respectively. It supports fast charging, capable of replenishing the battery from 30% to 80% in 16 minutes.

Editor’s comment

Leapmotor aims to sell 1 million vehicles this year, and the A10 model is considered crucial for achieving this ambitious target. CarNewsChina anticipates its pricing will be competitive with models like the Geely Geome Xingyuan or BYD Seagull, yet it will offer superior features and specifications. Crucially, as an SUV, it stands out as a unique offering in its price segment.

Positioned as an international model, the A10 is slated for launch in the European market during the second half of this year.

Should it be priced attractively (which Leapmotor is pretty good at), it has the potential to become a significant bestseller, much like the Xingyuan, which recorded over 460,000 sales last year.
