Recently, Huawei and Dongfeng‘s first model under their joint Yijing brand was spotted doing winter testing in China. This model is a full-size SUV and is confirmed to debut at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show on April 24th, featuring Huawei’s latest generation Qiankun ADS advanced driving system, HarmonyOS cockpit, and other technologies such as intelligent vehicle control.

Yijing was started back in 2023, positioned as a smart family car brand to fill the market gap between Dongfeng’s Voyah and eπ brands. The project codename was “DH”.

This full-size SUV is expected to launch in the third quarter of 2026, available in both BEV and EREV variants.

Front has a roof lidar for advanced driving assistance system.

The car body is printed with “Huawei Qiankun | Yijing”. In the front, a roof lidar is present. Other sensors including multiple millimeter-wave radars and high-definition cameras are expected to also onboard the vehicle to support Huawei’s Qiankun ADS to realize functions such as highway NOA, urban NOA without high-definition maps, and parking assist.

Hidden door handles, a sloping roofline, and three-row window design are visible.

Overall, the SUV exhibits a boxy stance. The front is likely to have a closed grille and incorporates a through-type light strip and split headlights. Hidden door handles and three-row window design can be seen from the side profile. At the rear, a full-width through-type taillight is expected to be present that mirrors the design on the front.

In addition, the SUV may adopt a 2+2+2 six-seat layout.

First prototype of the full-size SUV rolled off production in December 2025.

Earlier on December 22, 2025, the first prototype vehicle rolled off the production line after the brand launch at the Huawei Qiankun Ecosystem Conference on November 20, 2025.

Currently, Huawei’s “jing” series with automakers consists of Qijing (GAC), Huajing (SGMW’S Baojun), and Yijing (Dongfeng).
