On October 30, Chery’s Fulwin T11 range-extender SUV, officially entered the market in China, available in four trims with a price range of 189,900 to 249,900 yuan (26,800 to 35,200 USD). The new car features a comprehensive range of 1,400 km, RWD, AWD, Chery’s Falcon 500, and Falcon 700 advanced driving assistance system with a Nvidia Orin-Y intelligent driving chip.
Specifically, the Falcon 500 sits on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8620 chip and is supported by seven cameras, three millimeter-wave radars, and 12 ultrasonic radars, to realize highway NOA.
The Falcon 700 is supported by an additional roof lidar and four more cameras to realize both urban and highway NOA.
Dimensionally, the Chery Fulwin T11 measures 5150/1995/1800 mm (l/w/h), and a wheelbase of 3120 mm.
Available in both RWD and AWD, power comes from a 1.5L turbocharged engine as the range-extender and one or two permanent magnet synchronous motors, paired with 33.68 kWh and 39.92 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack, respectively. The engine has a maximum power output of 105 kW (141 hp) and peak torque of 215 Nm. The RWD has a 195 kW (261 hp) and 324 Nm e-motor while the AWD comes with an additional 150 kW (201 hp) and 310 Nm front e-motor.
The CLTC pure electric range is 220 km and the comprehensive range is 1,400 km across the entire series. Under fast charging, it takes 15 minutes to recharge the battery from 30% to 80%.
Coming to the cockpit, there is a 30-inch 6K screen, an 10.25-inch embedded full LCD instrument panel, and a two-spoke D-shaped multi-function steering wheel.
A 17.3-inch rear entertainment screen is offered except on the entry-level trim.
A 9.2L refrigerator embedded under the center console with a temperature range of -18°C to 50°C is available on the AWD as a standard configuration. Foldable small tables behind the front seats with a 26 mm thickness, 20 kg load capacity, and 0.077㎡ area are only available on the top-of-the-line trim.
The interior adopts a 2+2+2 six-seater layout with 1022 mm of legroom in the second-row, 66W fast charging in the third-row, and 23 speakers. The maximum trunk volume can reach 1,590L.
