BYD’s Dynasty series’ first B-segment all electric SUV, the Song Ultra EV, will be equipped with two Blade battery packs of 75.616 kWh and 82.732 kWh, offering a CLTC pure electric range of 620 km and 710 km, respectively.
The official launch is expected to be in the third quarter of this year with a price range of 220,000 and 260,000 yuan (32,000 to 38,000 USD). The new car is tasked to achieve more than 20,000 units of monthly sales, according to the General Manager of the Dynasty series.
The battery weighs 538.6 kg and 571.3 kg, respectively. The corresponding vehicle curb weight is 1990 kg and 2050 kg.
Power comes from a rear electric motor with either a maximum power of 270 kW (362 hp) or 240 kW (322 hp). Both have a top speed of 210 km/h.

Positioned as a B-segment pure electric SUV, the Song Ultra EV is overall larger than both the 2026 BYD Song L DM-i and 2026 Song Pro DM-i, with dimensions of 4850/1910/1670 mm (l/w/h) and a wheelbase of 2840 mm, adopting a five-seater layout.
Compared to both models, the Song Ultra EV’s wheelbase has been extended by 58 mm and 128 mm.

The Song Ultra EV’s exterior design follows the Dynasty series’ “Dragon Face Aesthetics” concept, incorporating the “dragon whisker” headlight. The side grilles on both sides are integrated with the trapezoidal lower grille.
An optional roof lidar is also available for the inclusion of BYD’s “God’s Eye” B (DiPilot 300) advanced driving assistance system in urban and highway environments, in addition to millimeter-wave radars and cameras.

At the rear, the “Chinese knot” taillight design is retained with the BYD brand logo embedded in the center.
