On July 28, Avatr Technology officially inaugurated its new Smart Digital Factory. The facility was developed in partnership with Changan Automobile, Huawei, China Unicom, and other major industry players, as reported by Auto-home.
Described as a fully digitalised and flexible “super factory,” it is powered by 5G and artificial intelligence. Avatr says the plant integrates more than 40 advanced technologies, including digital twin systems, to streamline its manufacturing process.
According to the company, the factory has achieved end-to-end digitalisation. Every tool and production component is connected via a unified 5G network, enabling real-time data tracking and complete transparency from order to vehicle completion.
The production line is fully automated, with one vehicle rolling off every 60 seconds. The facility supports mixed-model production and can accommodate 1,280 types of personalised orders across various powertrains—even across different brands.
The plant features 369 monitoring systems and 26 quality gates, enhanced by AI-based vision inspection systems deployed across 25 scenarios and 73 workstations.
As part of the announcement, Avatr confirmed it will soon launch a new flagship SUV co-developed with Huawei. The vehicle is intended to play a central role in Avatr’s future product lineup.
By 2030, Avatr plans to introduce 17 new models, including sedans, SUVs, MPVs, and sports cars. The company has set a target of achieving global annual sales of 800,000 units.

In 2024, Avatr sold 73,000 vehicles, more than doubling its sales from 2023. During the first half of 2025, the brand reported ongoing year-over-year growth, with four consecutive months of over 10,000 monthly deliveries.
Avatr also accelerated its international expansion. In 2024, it entered 25 countries and regions, including Thailand and Dubai. Overseas models were priced between 500,000 and 700,000 yuan (approximately 69,800 to 97,700 USD).
In July 2025, the company signed distribution agreements with dealers in Jordan and Egypt. The Avatr 11 was also launched in Singapore, marking continued progress in the brand’s global strategy.
