In the fourth quarter, Tesla China's sales including exports were about 240,900, contributing about 49 percent of the EV maker's global deliveries in the quarter.

Tesla China’s sales increased by 18.9% in December, rising from 78,856 vehicles in November to 93,766 vehicles, according to the Passenger Car Association (CPCA) on Friday.

December once again boasted the strongest month on record with some dizzying figures from automakers, as China’s car retailing maintained its growth trajectory in the past six months.
