Bitauto News: According to recent reports from relevant media, BYD will hold a brand press conference on the 16th to announce its entry into the South Korean passenger vehicle market. Local media have confirmed that the first model BYD will launch in South Korea is the "Atto 3" (known as Yuan PLUS in China), with an expected price of around 30 million KRW.

The first model from Chinese electric vehicle maker BYD to be sold in South Korea is expected to be its compact sports utility vehicle the Atto3, while the world's largest EV maker is set to make an official entry into the Korean market on Thursday. The Atto 3 is expected to be the first to clear environmental regulatory hurdles among BYD's four cars being prepared for launch in Korea. It is likely to receive emissions and noise certification from the National Institute of Environmental Research
