AUDI has officially released its electric SUV E7X on the SAIC-Audi official app and website, as the second model under the AUDI brand from the SAIC-Audi joint venture. Last month, this car was officially revealed in China during cold-weather tests.
AUDI (in capital letters) is a new China-only brand that focuses only on electric cars. The new brand without the classic “Four Rings” was launched in November 2024. It currently sells one model – AUDI E5 Sportback – a sleek wagon packed with SAIC technologies. The E7X was first unveiled as the AUDI E SUV concept last November, then appeared on regulatory filings the next month.
Dimensions of the AUDI E7X are 5049/1997/1710 mm with a wheelbase of 3,060 mm. It is available with 21-inch or 22-inch optional wheels.

The cabin has a five-seater layout. The fascia features the “ring light surface” design and million-pixel DLP high-definition digital projection headlights. The AUDI E7X has an illuminated logo and distinguishing LED elements with a dot pattern. The car’s rims have counterweights on the wheel logos. As a result, the AUDI inscription always stays upright.
The E7X features an all-aluminium chassis and the quattro intelligent all-wheel drive system. The entry-level RWD AUDI E7X comes standard with a single e-motor for 300 kW (402 hp). The AWD variant has a combined power output of 500 kW (670 hp), enabling a 0-100 km/h acceleration in 3.97 seconds. The top speed is 230 km/h.
All models are equipped with CATL battery cells, and a 109 kWh battery capacity delivers 751 km range. Furthermore, the E7X has a standard 900V high-voltage architecture.

The E7X is equipped with a roof-mounted LiDAR, powered by Momenta’s latest generation Flywheel large model, supporting both high-speed and urban NOA functions.
This car will be officially launched at this year’s Beijing Auto Show.
