Recently, the cruising range info of Chery’s upcoming Exeed Exlantix ET7 SUV were further exposed by the Chinese MIIT after the initial reveal:

  • BEV: 726 km and 682 km
  • EREV: 203 km and 182 km pure electric ranges

The BEV variant is equipped with a 97.682 kWh ternary lithium (NMC) battery pack from CATL, providing two range options:

  • 726 km range version is expected to be a RWD with an electric motor that outputs a maximum power of 230 kW (308 hp), curb weight of 2,200 kg, and top speed of 200 km/h
  • 682 km range version is expected to be an AWD, with an additional motor on the front axle with a maximum power of 123 kW (165 hp), combined system of 353 kW (473 hp), curb weight of 2,350 kg, and top speed of 210 km/h

The EREV variant is powered by a 1.5T engine (model SQRH4J15) as the range-extender with a maximum power of 115 kW (154 hp), paired with lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries from either Anhui Deyi Energy Technology or Gotion. Notably, the battery is available in two capacities: 39.816 kWh and 39.9168 kWh, corresponding to CLTC pure electric driving ranges of 203 km and 182 km, respectively. The corresponding curb weight is 2,300 kg and 2,400 kg as well.

At this time, the electric motor parameters for the electric motor still need to be revealed.

Dimensionally, the Exeed Exlantix ET7 measures 4988/1975/1710 mm (l/w/h), with a wheelbase of 3000 mm, and can seat five people as the standard. For reference, the current Exeed Exlantix ET has dimensions of 4955/1975/1698 mm and a wheelbase of 3000 mm. The ET7 sees an increase in both length and height, while the wheelbase remains unchanged.

Additionally, the lidar on the roof and multiple sensors throughout the exterior in the declaration images indicate that an advanced driving assistance system will be present, most likely Chery’s Falcon 700 powered by Horizon Robotics’ Journey 6P chip with a compute power of 560 TOPS.

We’ll continue to watch for more information.
