The Leapmotor A10 urban electric car was revealed in China ahead of its official premiere, scheduled for November 21. This small SUV aims to enter the global market as a rival to the BYD Atto 2 (Yuan Up). Its approximate domestic price is expected to lie between 80,000 and 100,000 yuan (11,250 – 14,050 USD).
A partnership with Stellantis boosted the speed of development of new Leapmotor cars. The young Chinese car maker plans to introduce two cars at the upcoming Guangzhou Auto Show 2025 on November 21. The first one is the previously revealed Lafa 5 (B05) electric hatchback. And the second is the Leapmotor A10 crossover. The latter model was previously shown in teaser images. On November 18, the company shared official images of the A10 for the first time.

The Leapmotor A10 is expected to fill the market niche between the affordable T03 city car and the Lafa 5 hatchback. It is a small crossover with an all-electric powertrain. Its exterior aligns with the brand’s signature design language. It has a closed front end with a trapeze-shaped air intake and oval-shaped headlights.
Other features include a LiDAR sensor on the roof, blackened D-pillars, and flush door handles. The charging port of the Leapmotor A10 sits in the front left fender. Gray plastic trim around wheel arches and bumpers gives this vehicle a sturdy look. The A10’s rear end has rectangular taillight units. This model also has blind spot monitoring cameras in front fenders.

We can highlight that the Leapmotor A10’s body outline resembles the previously mentioned BYD Atto 2. These two cars have similarly short rear overhangs, a high bonnet line, door handles, and plastic trim around the lower body. Dimensions of the Leapmotor A10 have yet to be revealed. However, CarNewsChina expects this car to be close to the Atto 2. The latter SUV’s length, width, and height are 4,310 mm, 1,830 mm, and 1,675 mm.
Leapmotor officials revealed two body colors of the A10. The first is the Seaweed Green, and the second is the Acorn Brown. It is most likely that one of these shades is the press color of the new crossover. More information about this car will be disclosed at the Guangzhou Auto Show.
