
Tesla has instructed its suppliers to eliminate China-sourced components from its US-produced cars within two years, according to a 14 November 2025 report by the Wall Street Journal. This news came only days after General Motors issued a similar order; evidently, both brands are increasingly concerned about the prospect of ongoing trade conflict between the US and China.
