New Zeekr X compact SUV launched: a 489 hp global model starting from 21,800 USD

Geely‘s Zeekr officially launched its updated Zeekr X compact SUV today, introducing three new configurations with prices ranging from 155,800 to 175,800 yuan (21,800 to 24,600 USD).

The new Zeekr X retains its exterior, characterised by intelligent matrix LED headlights integrated into the grille. The vehicle measures 4450mm in length, 1836mm in width, and 1572mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2750mm. Customers can choose from a vibrant palette of six colours: Paris Brown Rice, Su Mo Grey, Oslo Black, California Pink, Hangzhou Green, and Seattle Green.

Inside, the Zeekr X has a 14.6-inch electric sliding smart screen. This display features a 353mm electric slide rail, allowing it to move horizontally to switch between driving and entertainment modes. With a gesture, the screen can shift from the centre to the passenger side, catering to both the driver’s functional needs and the passenger’s entertainment.

The new Zeekr X is equipped with a 50W wireless fast-charging pad for mobile phones, an electronic password glove box for the front passenger, a 6.6L storage compartment, and dual front cup holders. A 5.7L central island refrigerator offers both cooling (from -6 degrees Celsius to 20 degrees Celsius) and warming (from 35 degrees Celsius to 50 degrees Celsius) modes.

Under the hood, the Zeekr X delivers performance with a peak power of 365 kW (489 hp) and a peak torque of 573 Newton-meters, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.69 seconds. The vehicle offers two battery options: a 61 kWh Energee battery and a 66 kWh CATL ternary lithium battery pack, providing CLTC range estimates of 530 kilometres and 512 kilometres, respectively. Based on the provided range information, it’s evident that CATL will be used for the dual-motor version.

The new Zeekr X also features an intelligent four-wheel-drive system, XTCS intelligent anti-skid system, and Akebono four-piston callipers for superior handling and safety. For advanced driver assistance, the vehicle comes with the Zeekr AD system, which includes full-speed active cruise control, among other features.
