Chinese Firm Dreame Unveils Bugatti-Inspired Electric Car Concept

Chinese appliance manufacturer Dreame Technology, best known for making vacuum cleaners, has set its sights on the electric vehicle market with a new concept car that is already raising eyebrows.

Digital renderings released by the company show a four-door electric car with styling cues nearly identical to the Bugatti Chiron, one of the world’s most exclusive hypercars. The images reveal a front fascia dominated by a horseshoe-style grille, a roofline with Bugatti’s distinct C-shaped profile, and even a central spine running over the rear decklid.

While Bugatti’s $3 million Chiron is a two-door hypercar designed for blistering performance, Dreame’s concept attempts to blend those dramatic design features into a more practical sedan-like package. The rear end of the Chinese EV differs slightly, adopting a continuous LED light bar and an oversized diffuser to modernize the look.

Industry observers have noted the striking similarities to Bugatti, with some calling it one of the boldest examples yet of design imitation in China’s auto industry. Dreame has not released performance specifications, battery capacity, or range figures, leaving questions about whether the car will match its aggressive styling with competitive technology.

Reports suggest the company intends to showcase its first prototype at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, a high-profile stage for technology debuts. If it appears, Dreame’s car will join a crowded field of start-ups trying to break into the EV market.

Whether the Chiron-inspired design helps or hinders Dreame’s credibility remains to be seen, but the renders ensure the car has already generated global attention — both for its familiarity and its ambition.
