On August 6, BYD launched the Atto 1 hatchback in Nepal — known as the Seagull in China.
The Atto 2 has a starting price of 4.399 million Nepalese rupees ($31,410) in Nepal, making it the seventh NEV model launched by BYD in the country.
Currently, the BYD models displayed on the website of Cimex Inc, BYD’s distributor in Nepal, include the Atto 1, Atto 2, Atto 3, Dolphin, Seal, and M6 MPV (multi-purpose vehicle). The Atto 3 is known as the Yuan Plus in China.
The Atto 2 is equipped with a 51.13-kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack, offering a WLTP range of 345 kilometers. This battery pack is larger than the one in the Chinese version, providing a longer range.
