Furthermore, the BEV will come with an 800V platform and 5C fast charging.

The EREV will boast a 430 km pure electric range, making it the “world’s longest pure electric range range-extender sedan.” According to previous declaration information, the EREV will have dimensions of 5071/1937/1512 mm (l/w/h), with a wheelbase of 3000 mm and a curb weight of 2,160 kg. The body length is increased by 15 mm compared to the existing BEV variant.

The powertrain will consist of an 1.5T engine as the range extender that outputs a maximum power of 110 kW (148 hp) and an electric motor that outputs 180 kW (241 hp), paired with lithium iron phosphate battery and boasting a top speed of 200 km/h.

Current Xpeng P7+ on the market

The Xpeng P7+ was first launched last November, available only in BEV with a price range of 186,800 to 208,800 yuan (26,100 to 29,700 USD).

It features a drag coefficient of 0.206 Cd. The entire series is RWD, powered by a permanent magnet synchronous motor that outputs either 180 kW (241 hp)/450 Nm or 230 kW (308 hp)/450 Nm. Three lithium iron phosphate battery capacities are available: 60.7 kWh, 76.3 kWh, and 74.9 kWh, correspond to a CLTC range of 615 km, 725 km, and 685 km, respectively.

The top-of-the-line trim supports 5C fast-charging while the rest support 3C, and takes 12 mins and 20 mins to recharge the battery from 30% to 80%, respectively.

The standard trunk volume is 725L and can be expanded to 2,221L.

Since its launch a year ago, the Xpeng P7+ has sold over 88,000 units to date, and has crowned the sales champion for mid-to-large-sized pure electric sedans in the 150,000 to 200,000 yuan (21,300 to 28,500 USD) price range for 12 consecutive months.
