The Onvo L60 Black Knight Edition electric fastback SUV from Nio began deliveries in China with a starting price of 154,900 yuan (21,900 USD) with a BaaS plan. It is a limited edition with only 666 units available for purchase. The distinctive feature of this L60 is the all-black exterior.
The Onvo L60 was launched in September 2024 with a price range of 206,900 – 255,900 yuan (29,260 – 36,190 USD) as the Tesla Model Y rival. With a BaaS (Battery as a Service) plan, the Onvo L60 could be purchased without a battery pack for 149,900 yuan (21,200 USD). Despite competitive prices, the L60 fell short of expectations by selling 68,707 units from September 2024 to September 2025, according to China EV DataTracker.

In September 2025, Nio released the updated version of the Onvo L60 with the same price range. However, this model’s functional equipment was improved. Deliveries kicked off in mid-October. On December 5, Onvo launched the special edition of the L60 called Black Knight. It aims to boost the model’s sales by attracting attention from potential customers.

The Onvo L60 Black Knight Edition comes standard with an LFP 60.6 kWh battery made by BYD subsidiary FinDreams. It powers a single electric motor in the rear axle for 240 kW (322 hp). The car speeds up to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds. The L60 Black Knight can run up to 530 km under CLTC conditions on a full charge. Thanks to a 900V high-voltage system, this pack could be charged from 10 to 80% in 25 minutes. Similar to other Nio models, the Onvo L60 can swap batteries in three minutes.

Dimensions of the Onvo L60 Black Edition are in line with the standard model. Its length, width, and height are 4,828 mm, 1,930 mm, and 1,616 mm, respectively. The newly launched limited edition could be distinguished by black exterior trim, 20-inch rims, and blackened emblems. Its interior is finished in black with vivid orange stitching and seatbelts. The rear right passenger has a folding table.

The Onvo L60 Black Knight Edition was launched and started deliveries with a price tag of 211,900 yuan (29,965 USD). It costs 5,000 yuan (710 USD) more than the entry-level L60. With the BaaS battery rental plan, the Onvo L60 Black Knight price starts at 154,900 yuan (21,900 USD). Only 666 units of this SUV will be available for purchase.
Previously, Nio also launched the Onvo L90 Black Knight Edition full-size SUV. Only 999 units of this variant are available. The price with the battery included is 306,800 yuan (43,160 USD). The BaaS plan allows slicing the L90’s price tag to 220,800 yuan (31,060 USD).
