Nio announced today that its Firefly sub-brand has officially commenced production of its right-hand drive (RHD) models. The first batch of these vehicles is slated for shipment to Singapore, with plans to enter more countries in the future.
Since its launch on April 19th, Firefly has rapidly advanced its global market presence. The brand achieved its first European delivery in August, less than four months after its debut. To date, deliveries have begun in the Netherlands, Norway, and Belgium, with test drives and deliveries soon to commence in Denmark, Greece, Austria, Portugal, and Luxembourg.
The Nio Firefly pure electric compact car, officially launched on April 19th, is priced between 119,800 and 125,800 yuan. The vehicle boasts a 92-litre front trunk and, with the rear seats folded, offers a flat cargo space exceeding 1,250 litres. Its body structure features a high-strength steel and aluminium alloy composition of 83.4%, along with extra-wide dual front anti-collision beams and dual front door anti-collision beams. It is also equipped with nine airbags for enhanced safety.

Inside, the Firefly features a raised central armrest in the front, allowing for a through-type design that enables easy entry and exit from both sides. Below the front cup holders, a drawer system provides convenient storage. A 50W wireless fast-charging pad with a non-slip groove design is also included. The vehicle incorporates a magnetic anchor system, compatible with various accessories such as tissue boxes, cup holders, glasses holders, and storage boxes.

The Firefly measures 4003mm in length, 1781mm in width, and 1557mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2615mm. It is equipped with a standard 42 kWh battery, offering a CLTC comprehensive range of 420 km. Powering the vehicle is a 105 kW (141 hp) permanent magnet synchronous motor (rear-wheel drive), delivering a maximum output torque of 200 N·m and a top speed of 150km/h.
Earlier MIIT declarations indicate a 20 hp power upgrade for the new Firefly powertrain.
