Volkswagen has officially unveiled the interior of its new pure electric mid-to-large SUV, the ID.Unyx 08. Set to launch in Q1 2026, the ID.Unyx 08’s range was unveiled last December, it features an 800V high-voltage platform. This model marks the debut of the 800V architecture in Volkswagen’s ID.Unyx series.

The ID.Unyx 08 features a wraparound cockpit. The driver-centric setup includes a 10.25-inch LCD instrument cluster paired with dual 14.96-inch linked screens, offering a sharp 2.4K resolution for navigation, vehicle status, and ADAS interactions.

The dual-spoke steering wheel reintroduces physical buttons and scroll wheels.

For the ID.Unyx 08’s interior, all seats are wrapped in Nappa leather. The driver’s seat boasts heating, ventilation, and massage functions. The front passenger seat offers 14-way electric adjustment, an electric leg rest, and can recline up to 120°, supporting a “big bed” mode. Rear passengers benefit from a 10° electric recline for their seatbacks and convenient foldable tray tables.

The cabin is equipped with a 1.74 sqm smart dimming panoramic sunroof, featuring 10 levels of adjustment and the ability to switch between transparent and foggy states.

The ID.Unyx 08 will be available in both single-motor rear-wheel-drive and dual-motor all-wheel-drive configurations. The single-motor variant delivers a maximum power output of 230kW (308 hp). The dual-motor AWD version features a 140kW (188 hp) front motor and a 230kW (308 hp) rear motor.

Powering the SUV are CATL-supplied lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries, with capacities of 82.368kWh and 95.04kWh. These battery options translate to CLTC ranges of 630km, 700km, and 730km. A highlight is the integration of an 800V high-voltage fast-charging platform.
