Porsche‘s all-electric Cayenne will make its global debut at the Beijing Auto Show in April 2026, the German luxury automaker has confirmed. Built on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture, the new Cayenne Electric Turbo Electric variant delivers a staggering 1,156 horsepower.

The Cayenne Electric will be offered in two variants: the standard Electric and the high-performance Turbo Electric. The base model features a dual-motor setup producing 408 horsepower (300 kW), which can temporarily increase to 442 horsepower (325 kW) when using launch control. This allows the vehicle to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds, with a top speed of 230 km/h.

The flagship Turbo Electric variant raises the bar with its dual-motor powertrain generating 857 horsepower (630 kW) in standard operation. When launch control is activated, power surges to 1,156 horsepower (850 kW) with 1,500 Nm of torque, enabling a 0-100 km/h sprint in 2.5 seconds.

Both models feature a “Push-to-Pass” function that provides an additional 176 horsepower (130 kW) boost for 10 seconds.

The Cayenne Electric comes standard with an 800V electrical architecture and a 113 kWh battery pack (108 kWh usable capacity). The vehicle’s chassis features a dual-chamber, dual-valve air suspension system, torque vectoring, and a limited-slip differential at the rear axle. Rear-wheel steering is also included as standard equipment.

High-performance models will be available with 22-inch wheels and carbon ceramic brakes. Spy shots have revealed that lower-trim variants may feature smaller wheels and conventional braking systems.

The Cayenne Electric features a closed-off front fascia with active grille shutters in the lower bumper to optimize aerodynamics. The vehicle’s dimensions have grown compared to its combustion engine counterpart, measuring 4,985mm long, 1,980mm wide, and 1,674mm tall, with a wheelbase of 3,023mm—130mm longer than the current gas-powered model.

Inside, the Cayenne Electric showcases a 14.25-inch OLED digital instrument cluster and a curved 12.25-inch central touchscreen that Porsche has named the “Flow Display.” A three-spoke sports steering wheel with drive mode selectors comes standard, and customers can opt for an optional 87-inch augmented reality head-up display and a separate 14.9-inch entertainment screen for the front passenger.

The vehicle’s exterior features traditional door handles, pronounced side skirts, and character lines. At the rear, with a small roof spoiler, illuminated PORSCHE lettering across the taillight bar, and retractable aerodynamic elements.
