Spied images of the global version of the infotainment system for the Aito M9 have recently appeared online, revealing how Huawei’s digital platform is being adapted for international markets. The screenshots show that the system has been localised with overseas map services, integrated with the Huawei ADS advanced driving assistance suite, and includes a range of global apps tailored for non-Chinese users.

The navigation interface has replaced Chinese map services with international providers, displaying English-language labelling and routing formats commonly used in overseas markets. This indicates that the vehicle’s navigation stack has been rebuilt to comply with regional mapping data, licensing requirements, and search databases outside China.

The Huawei ADS interface has also been adapted for driving conditions abroad. While the overall layout resembles the domestic version, lane markings, speed limit indicators, and environmental prompts follow conventions used in North America and Europe rather than those in China. These adjustments suggest that the ADS software is being aligned with regulatory and operational standards in international markets.

Other elements of the cabin’s software have been localised for non-Chinese users. System menus, settings pages, voice-assistant onboarding, and media controls appear in English, with formatting and iconography adjusted for international familiarity. The screenshots show a structure consistent with common overseas UI standards, ensuring usability without reliance on Chinese-language conventions.

The Aito M9 is a full-size SUV measuring 5230 mm in length, 1999 mm in width, and 1800 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3110 mm. It is offered in five-seat and six-seat configurations and comes in pure electric (EV) and range-extended electric (EREV) versions. The EV produces 390 kW (523 hp) and 673 Nm of torque, with a CLTC range of 605 km and a 0–100 km/h time of 4.7 seconds. The EREV pairs a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine as a generator with dual electric motors, delivering 365 kW (489 hp) and 675 Nm of torque, and a combined CLTC range of up to 1,417 km. Both versions feature all-wheel drive, 21‑inch wheels, and four LiDAR units to support Huawei’s ADS, with curb weights ranging from approximately 2,655 kg for the EV to 2,690 kilograms of the EREV.

The screenshots further show that Chinese domestic apps have been replaced with globally recognised alternatives, including widely available music and video platforms. While the images do not reveal an overseas launch timeline, they indicate that Huawei’s infotainment system is being prepared for international markets, reflecting the extensive adaptation required for navigation, driver-assistance, and digital services before a China-developed vehicle can be exported.
