Geely officially launched the 2026 version of its best-selling electric compact hatchback Geome Xingyuan in China. The new model’s list prices begin at 68,800 yuan (9,670 USD), with a limited-time offer starting from 65,800 yuan (about 9,260 USD).

The model is offered in six configurations across two range tiers (310 km and 410 km, CLTC cycle). A new Star Limited Edition joins the lineup, limited to 1,000 units. It has taken a page from Smart #1 Brabus’ playbook, featuring a red roof, red seatbelts, and contrasting elements.

The 2026 Geome Xingyuan retains its rounded, friendly styling. Compared to the 2025 version, the changes are relatively modest. It still features a closed front grille, softly contoured headlamps with L-shaped daytime running lights, semi-hidden door handles, and traction wheels up to 16 inches. Two new paint choices (“Chanson Purple” and “Cocoa Beige”) have been added, bringing the total palette to eight colours; buyers in 2025 can choose them free of charge.

The car’s dimensions are 4,135 mm (length) × 1,805 mm (width) × 1,570 mm (height), with a wheelbase of 2,650 mm. The cargo space includes a 375 L rear trunk and a 70 L front trunk. Rear seats fold to expand capacity up to ~1,320 L in maximum use.

Inside, the cabin layout is symmetrical and user-friendly. The instrument cluster is 8.8 inches, and the central screen is available in 10.1 or 14.6 inches, depending on trim. The infotainment runs on Flyme Auto, offering wallpaper customisation, dual-zone voice control, smartphone integration via Flyme Link, and a 540° panoramic camera system.

Standard features across trims include six airbags, a dual-mode rear tailgate (electric with anti-pinch), wireless fast charging at 50W, semi-hidden door handles, and a 20 L centre console plus a 10 L glovebox for additional storage.

There are two rear-wheel drive single motor options:

  • 310 km version: 58 kW motor, 130 Nm torque, paired with a 30.12 kWh LFP battery
  • 410 km version: 85 kW motor, 150 Nm torque, paired with a 40.16 kWh LFP battery

All versions use CATL-supplied battery cells and a liquid cooling temperature management system. Fast charging from 30% to 80% takes ~21 minutes, and a 10-minute charge can provide approximately 120 km of range.

In China’s small EV segment, the Geome Xingyuan competes with models such as the BYD Seagull and the Wuling Binguo Plus. Geely reports that the Geome Xingyuan series has now achieved cumulative sales exceeding 400,000 units since launch.
