Following its official announcement of car manufacturing at the end of August, Dreame is selecting a site to build a factory in Berlin, Germany. Additionally, informed sources quoted by Chinese media Cailian Press stated that Dreame Auto will also collaborate with BNP Paribas to prepare for its entry into the global market.

Dreame Technology founder and CEO Yu Hao, along with his team, visited Germany on September 8 to finalise factory site selections. The proposed Dreame Auto factory will be strategically located near Tesla’s Gigafactory Berlin.

Known for its high-performance vacuum cleaners and robotics, Dreame Technology officially declared its entry into the high-end automotive sector on August 28. The company aims to redefine ultra-luxury with an “intelligent electric hypercar,” stating that traditional luxury brands have been slow to embrace electrification and smart technology. At the heart of this new vehicle will be Dreame’s proprietary high-speed digital motor technology, which recently earned a world-first certification from Sullivan for its 200,000 RPM digital motor – a technology currently powering its flagship Z50 Station vacuum cleaner. Dreame envisions this motor technology will drive “the world’s fastest car.”

Beyond automotive, the German trip included evaluating sites for a large home appliance intelligent production base. This European hub aims to ensure high-standard localised production, compliant delivery, and improved efficiency for mass production certification and market responsiveness for Dreame’s growing appliance portfolio. The team’s assessment focused on production capacity planning, quality systems, supply chain integration, and sustainable manufacturing capabilities.

The company boasts a robust global presence with over 6,000 offline channels and a user base of 30 million.
