On December 22, Chery’s Exeed brand unveiled four new models at its brand night, namely, the ES7 GT shooting brake, ES8 shooting brake, ET8 SUV, and ET9 SUV, under the ES and ET series. The first model will be launched in 10 months, and the other three models will be launched within the next 20 months.
All four models will be successively equipped with Chery’s Falcon advanced driving assistance system, including Falcon 900 (Level 3 autonomous driving) in 2026. The Rhino S all-solid-state battery will also be installed onto the vehicles for testing next year.
Exeed ES7 GT
The Exeed ES7 GT is positioned as the brand’s first shooting brake model and will be equipped with an EREV powertrain system consisting of three electric motors, achieving a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in less than 3 seconds. Its comprehensive range is expected to be 1,700 km and supports 1,000V fast charging, providing 450 km of range in 5 minutes of charging.
Exeed ES8
The Exeed ES8 is also a shooting brake model and has a drag coefficient of 0.22 Cd. It is expected to be Exeed’s first model to equip with solid-state battery, achieving a pure electric range of 1,000 km. Other features include dual vector motors, four-wheel steering, and six-piston calipers.
Inside, the cockpit has a 15.6-inch central control screen, powered by a built-in Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip and Huawei’s HarmonyOS ecosystem.
Exeed ET8
The Exeed ET8 is a large six-seat SUV, adopting a square stance, and will come with 4D mechanical massage seats and a 31-speaker Boya audio system.
Exeed ET9
The Exeed ET9 is positioned as a luxury flagship six-seater SUV that can perform rear-wheel steering and tank turn. Notably, it is equipped with rear-hinged doors. The seats can rotate and oxygen generation will be supported.
In the rear, the lift gate adopts a segmented design in which the top and bottom parts can both open outward.
