Chery Automobile has officially launched its first all-electric pickup truck, the Hilma (Rely R08) EV, on January 27, 2026. The new model is offered in six variants with prices ranging from 127,800 to 158,800 yuan (18,300 to 22,700 USD). As the first pure electric pickup under the Hilma brand, the vehicle features a body-on-frame construction and comes in both single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor all-wheel drive configurations.

The Hilma EV features a distinctive design with a large polygonal front grille adorned with honeycomb-patterned black elements. The central RELY brand logo is on the upper edge of the hood.
In terms of dimensions, the pickup is available in standard and long box versions. The standard box model measures 5,330mm in length, 1,920mm in width, and 1,890mm in height, while the long box variant extends to 5,610mm in length. The standard cargo bed measures 1,530mm deep, while the long box offers 1,810mm of depth. Both versions maintain a cargo width of 1,620mm and a height of 515mm.
The Hilma EV boasts an interior with a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel and either a 15.6-inch or 12.3-inch floating central control screen, depending on the trim level. The cabin features a light brown and black color scheme with chrome accents highlighting various details.
Higher trim models come equipped with advanced driving assistance systems, including adaptive cruise control (ACC), lane keeping assist, and automatic emergency braking.
The Hilma EV is powered by an all-electric drivetrain. The single-motor rear-wheel drive version delivers a maximum power output of 150 kW (201 hp) and peak torque of 350N·m, accelerating from 0 to 100km/h in 8.8 seconds.
The dual-motor all-wheel drive variant boasts a combined maximum power of 300 kW (402 hp) and peak torque of 540N·m, cutting the 0-100km/h acceleration time to 5.0 seconds.
For battery options, the pickup offers either 66.54 kWh or 88 kWh battery packs, providing driving ranges of 405km, 510km, or 505km depending on the configuration.
