Avatr revealed the official images of its first Avatr 06T station wagon, featuring Huawei’s new generation of lidar for advanced driving assistance functions and is built based on the existing Avatr 06 sedan.
Referencing the Avatr 06, the Avatr 06T is expected to also offer both BEV and EREV variants. For reference, the current price range for the Avatr 06 is 209,900 to 279,900 yuan (30,200 to 40,300 USD), available in six trims.
Once launched, it will compete with models including the Zeekr 001, Denza Z9 GT, Stelato S9T, and the Nio ET5T.
Notably, the Avatr 06T adopts the same front face design as that of the Avatr 06. In the rear, the through-type taillight is full-width that runs from one end to the other and a roof spoiler has been added. A lidar is visible on the front roof. Digital external mirrors are retained.
However, the door handles are now semi-hidden, an update from the current hidden design.
The body dimensions have not been revealed, but it is expected to be longer than the Avatr 06’s 4855 mm body length.
The powertrain specifications and range info have also not been revealed at this time. For reference, the Avatr 06 has the following parameters:
BEV
- RWD: 252 kW (338 hp) and 365 Nm electric motor, 72.88 kWh LFP battery pack, 650 km CLTC range
- AWD: an additional 188 kW (252 hp) and 280 Nm front electric motor, 600 km CLTC range
EREV
- RWD: 231 kW (310 hp) and 367 Nm electric motor, CATL’s 31.7 kWh or 45.06 kWh Freevoy LFP battery pack, 1,190 km or 1,250 km CLTC comprehensive range, 230 km or 330 km CLTC pure electric range
Furthermore, the Avatr 06T is expected to be equipped with other latest Huawei techs such as the Qiankun ADS and HarmonyOS 5.0 cockpit system.
