Zeekr, the premium electric vehicle brand of Geely, announced today that its refreshed Zeekr 007 and 007 GT models will commence pre-sales on April 2 and officially launch on April 10. These models were first exposed through regulatory filings last month. The refreshed Zeekr 007 GT is expected to see price increases of 5,000 to 8,000 yuan (700 to 1,200 USD) due to rising costs for semiconductor chips and lithium batteries.
Concurrently, the company will introduce a limited-edition Zeekr 001 5th Anniversary Edition.
Refreshed Zeekr 007: sportier design and enhanced intelligence
The updated Zeekr 007 sedan features a more dynamic exterior, highlighted by new dynamic air vent styling on the front fascia and an optional carbon fibre kit to amplify its sporty appeal. In terms of dimensions, the new 007 measures 4858 (or 4880) mm in length, 1900 mm in width, and 1450 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2925 mm. These figures indicate adjustments in both length and wheelbase compared to the current model.
Technologically, the refreshed 007 boasts an upgraded 900V high-voltage architecture and is powered by the more potent Nvidia Drive Thor-U intelligent driving chip, elevating its intelligent driving capabilities.
Zeekr 007 GT: subtle evolution for the shooting brake
As the shooting brake variant of the 007, the refreshed Zeekr 007 GT maintains a more restrained styling evolution. Its dimensions are slightly tweaked to 4858 (or 4880) mm in length, 1900 mm in width, and 1460 (or 1445) mm in height, with the wheelbase remaining at 2925 mm.
Both the refreshed Zeekr 007 and 007 GT are built on the 900V high-voltage architecture and offer both single-motor and dual-motor powertrain configurations. The single-motor variant delivers a maximum power output of 370kW (496 hp), while the dual-motor version features a 215kW (288 hp) front motor and a 370kW (496 hp) rear motor. Performance highlights include a maximum range of up to 905 km and a blistering 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 2.73 seconds.
Zeekr 001 5th Anniversary Edition: a limited edition
Launching alongside the 007 series, the limited-edition Zeekr 001 5th Anniversary Edition promises upgrades across electric drive performance, chassis handling, and luxury features. This special model, also built on the 900V architecture, delivers 925 horsepower and achieves a 0-100 km/h acceleration in the 2-second range. Unique features include factory-equipped KW coilover suspension and an industry-exclusive “Starry Sky Music Hall” cabin experience.
Zeekr’s dominance in the shooting brake segment
Zeekr also highlighted its strong market position in the shooting brake segment. According to the “Global Shooting Brake Market Research Report 2021-2025” by the authoritative analysis firm JATO Dynamics, Zeekr’s shooting brake models ranked first in global sales during the 2021-2025 period. As of the end of March 2026, the cumulative sales of the Zeekr shooting brake family have surpassed 350,000 units, underscoring the brand’s success in this niche market.
