Range details regarding Xiaomi‘s upcoming high-performance SUV, the YU7 GT, have emerged from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s (MIIT) new energy vehicle declaration catalogue. The vehicle’s general info was first exposed by the regulatory filing last month.
The Xiaomi YU7 GT is equipped with a 101.7 kWh battery pack, enabling a pure electric cruising range of up to 650 km. Its maximum range is 705 km.
The YU7 GT features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system. The front motor delivers a maximum power output of 288 kW, while the rear motor provides an even more robust 450 kW. This powerful combination results in a staggering system comprehensive power of 738 kW, equivalent to 990 horsepower. This allows the vehicle to achieve a top speed of 300 km/h.
Visually, the YU7 GT adopts a sleek, coupe-SUV silhouette. The front fascia is characterised by a full-width LED light strip and sharply designed headlights, complemented by a flowing hood. A lidar module is seamlessly integrated into the roof. The side profile is accentuated by large, wide wheel arches, multi-spoke sport wheels, and red brake callipers. It still has a hidden door handle design. At the rear, a full-width taillight design mirrors the front, with “XIAOMI” and “YU7 GT” badging displayed. The rear bumper features a diffuser-style design, incorporating dual-outlet vent-like elements.
The YU7 GT measures 5015 mm in length, 2007 mm in width, and 1597 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3000 mm. The vehicle has a curb weight of 2460 kg, with the battery pack alone accounting for 666 kg.
Xiaomi is also offering a rich array of optional configurations. Customers can choose from different front combination lamp trim pieces, rearview mirrors, rear spoilers, and ducktail spoilers. Further customisation extends to calliper colours, body decals, and even the front emblem, allowing owners to tailor the vehicle to their individual preferences.
Last year, the vehicle in camouflage was spotted testing at Germany’s Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit.
