Leapmotor A10 small EV crossover became available for reservations in China

The Leapmotor A10 electric crossover became available for reservations at the Guangzhou Auto Show 2025 with 500 km of range and the Snapdragon 8295P chip. It will enter China with a price under 100,000 yuan (14,070 USD) to rival the BYD Atto 2 (Yuan Up).

The Leapmotor A10 was previously shown in official teaser images. It is the entry-level crossover from the Stellantis-backed Chinese automaker. It will first enter the domestic market with strong overseas ambitions. On November 21, this small SUV was officially revealed at the Chinese exhibition.

The Leapmotor A10 is a compact electric car that aligns with other models in terms of exterior styling. It might look generic at first sight. However, this model adopts a lot of quirky design elements. It has rectangular taillight units with LED lights looking like smiling faces. From the front, this EV has three-segment headlamps, functional air ducts, and a 1,133-mm-long bonnet.

The A10 has a charging port cover in the left front fender. Blackened pillars of this EV create a floating roof effect. The car has a large panoramic roof and 18-inch rims. Other features include a LiDAR sensor and six blue lights that inform other road users that the car’s driver assistance systems are active. The Leapmotor A10 has six body colors: brown, green, blue, gray, silver, and beige.

Dimensions of the Leapmotor A10 have yet to be revealed. However, this car sits close to the Atto 2 (Yuan Plus) in terms of size. The BYD car’s length, width, and height are 4,310 mm, 1,830 mm, and 1,675 mm, respectively. The A10 has a cabin space utilization rate of 88.1%.

Leapmotor officials revealed that the A10 crossover will have up to 500 km of CLTC range on a single charge. The battery can charge from 30 to 80% in 16 minutes, which is good for 250 km of range. The car also adopts the Snapdragon 8650 driving assistance system chip. As for the infotainment system, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P processor.

The Leapmotor A10 will enter the domestic market in H1 2026. However, potential customers can reserve this car for 99 yuan (14 USD). People can also book the Leapmotor A10 for 400 yuan (56 USD) to enjoy the delivery priority after the sales start in China.
